Consistencies
Slõ hot drinks and Slõ cold drinks are the only drinks available which match the 3 fluid consistencies recommended in the National Descriptor Guidelines for Texture Modification in Adults.
As a direct result they can be used for all degrees of Dysphagia
and all
types
of
Dysphagia treatment.
These multiple consistencies are described using different terms to
give a
visual indication of the flow rate of thickened fluids.
Just some of the terms
currently being used are shown below and the equivalent Slõ Drink consistency.
