Manufacture

Slõ Drinks are manufactured on an industrial scale and quality assured
to a standard specification to guarantee that a drink will always be the
same safe consistency for any swallowing disorder.

The quantity of drink flavour and thickener is maintained by a system
of checks pre, during and post production with a tolerance of +/- 0.2g.

Pre	The machine is checked and tested to ensure that it is dispensing the flavour and thickener within limits
During	Cups are removed from the completed stack at predetermined quantities and weighed
Post	A packed stack of cups is taken randomly from each completed case and weighed

Together with these internal audits, the factory and all its systems are audited and accredited by the NHS’ preferred auditor Support, Training Services PLC (STS).

Packaging

Finished drinks are placed in a clear plastic tube, which is heat-sealed to keep the drinks fresh for up to a year.

Then labeled with the relevant drink flavour and consistency they are placed in different sized cases depending on the number required.
