Step 2. Reinforcement

Historically reinforcing consistency compliance through training takes
a phenomenal amount of time.

Having completed training there is no guarantee that a dysphagia patient
will then receive a drink at the right consistency due to the problems
already highlighted with using tubs of thickening powder.

However because you only add water to Slõ Drinks® up to a dotted line,
training times are dramatically reduced.

As further help all preparation instructions are provided in easy to read
written and pictorial formats.
 
Finally to ensure the drinker always receives a drink at the right consistency
Slõ provide bedside charts to provide a highly visible reminder of which drink consistency they should be having.
